ANY CARGO. ANYWHERE.

No matter the service required, we will treat your cargo as if it is our own.

LCL

LCL (less than container load) shipments are commonly used when the shipment volume is too large for a parcel service but not large enough to justify the use of an entire container. It is especially beneficial for small and medium-sized businesses and organizations that do not have sufficient cargo to fill a full container on their own. LCL services provide flexibility and cost savings by offering a consolidated solution for transporting smaller quantities of goods.

FCL

FCL stands for "Full Container Load". It refers to a shipment that occupies the entire capacity of a shipping container. Unlike LCL, where multiple shipments are consolidated into a single container, FCL shipments are exclusive to a single customer or consignee. FCL shipments can provide cost advantages for customers with larger volumes of cargo. Shipping lines often offer competitive rates and discounts for FCL shipments due to the guaranteed occupancy of a container. FCL offers several advantages in terms of speed, control, and potentially lower costs compared to other shipping options.

Break Bulk

Break bulk cargo refers to goods or commodities that are transported individually and not in standardized shipping containers or bulk carriers. Unlike containerized cargo or bulk cargo, break bulk cargo is typically loaded, transported, and unloaded piece by piece or in smaller groups.

While break bulk cargo transportation can be more labor-intensive and time-consuming compared to containerized or bulk shipments, it provides flexibility for transporting large, heavy, or irregularly shaped goods that are not suitable for containerization. It is commonly used in industries such as construction, manufacturing, energy, and project cargo logistics where specialized handling is necessary.

AIR

Air cargo export offers several advantages, including speed, reliability, and global connectivity. It allows businesses to quickly transport goods across long distances, reach remote or inaccessible locations, and meet time-sensitive delivery requirements. Airfreight is particularly suitable for perishable goods, high-value items, time-critical shipments, and products that require a faster transit time compared to other modes of transportation.

Project Cargo

Transporting project cargo requires careful planning, coordination, and expertise, all of which SLG can provide. It often involves a combination of various transportation modes such as ships, barges, heavy haul trucks, rail, and even specialized aircraft for air transportation. Additional considerations such as route surveys, specialized handling equipment, securing methods, and permits may be necessary to ensure safe and efficient transportation.

Trucking

Both FTL (Full Truck Load) and LTL (Less than Truck Load) shipments have their advantages and considerations. FTL shipments offer direct transportation, faster transit times, and less handling, but they can be more expensive for smaller volumes. LTL shipments, on the other hand, provide cost savings, shared transportation, and flexible options for smaller shipments but may have longer transit times due to additional stops for pickups and deliveries.
